How long is the eGift Card valid for?
All Merlo eGift Cards are valid for a full 3 years from the date of purchase. The exact expiry date is displayed clearly on the digital voucher.
Can the recipient spend the balance across multiple orders?
Yes. The card can be used across multiple transactions until the balance is depleted. If an order exceeds the card balance, they can simply pay the remaining difference with any accepted payment method.
Can I schedule delivery for a future birthday or event?
Yes. During checkout on the product page, you can choose whether the eGift Card is delivered immediately or scheduled for an exact date in the future.
Are there any fees or cash redemptions?
There are zero fees to buy or redeem an eGift Card. eGift Cards cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, except where required by law.

Issuer: The eGift Card is issued by Merlo Coffee Pty Ltd ABN 39 010 770 046.
Expiry: Merlo eGift Cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. The expiry date is shown on your eGift Card. Any balance remaining after the expiry date is forfeited, and the eGift Card can no longer be used.
Purchase & Delivery: The purchaser receives proof of purchase by email. The eGift Card is sent by email to the recipient address entered at checkout. The purchaser is responsible for entering the recipient's email address correctly. If an eGift Card hasn't arrived, please contact us via our Contact Us page.
Where You Can Use It: The eGift Card can be used to buy goods at our Merlo Coffee Flagship Cafes or online at merlo.com.au. They cannot be used at other cafes or retailers that sell Merlo products.
Using Your Balance: The eGift Card can be used across multiple purchases until the balance runs out or the card expires. We don't give change, but any remaining balance stays on the card for future use. If a purchase costs more than the card balance, you can pay the difference with another accepted payment method.
No Cash, No Fees: eGift Cards can't be redeemed or exchanged for cash, except where required by law. No fees apply to buying or using an eGift Card.
Lost, Stolen or Misused Cards: Please treat your eGift Card like cash. We aren't responsible for lost or stolen eGift Cards, or for their use without your permission.
Refunds: eGift Cards aren't refundable for change of mind. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Resale & Fraud: eGift Cards may not be resold. We may cancel or refuse to accept any eGift Card we reasonably believe was obtained fraudulently or illegally.
Privacy: We collect personal information, including purchaser and recipient email addresses, to process and deliver eGift Cards. We handle it in line with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms: We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be published at merlo.com.au. Changes won't reduce the expiry period or value of eGift Cards already bought.
Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
