xeGift Card Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully prior to purchasing or redeeming your digital gift card.
1 Issuer
The eGift Card is issued by Merlo Coffee Pty Ltd (ABN 39 010 770 046).
2 3-Year Expiry
Valid for 3 years from the purchase date, as indicated on the card. Any remaining balance after expiry is forfeited and cannot be used.
3 Purchase & Delivery
Proof of purchase is emailed to the buyer, and the card is delivered to the recipient address provided. Please ensure the email address is accurate. If an item has not arrived, contact us via our Contact Us page.
4 Where to Redeem
Redeemable online at merlo.com.au or in person at Merlo Coffee Flagship Cafes. Not valid at independent cafes or third-party retail stockists.
5 Balance & Multiple Use
Usable across multiple transactions until depleted or expired. Change is not given; remaining funds stay on the card. Split payments are accepted if the order total exceeds your balance.
6 No Cash & No Fees
Cards cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, except where required by law. There are no administration or transaction fees to purchase or redeem.
7 Lost, Stolen, or Misused
Please treat your card details like cash. Merlo Coffee is not responsible for misplaced or stolen vouchers, or unauthorized redemptions.
8 Refunds
eGift Cards are non-refundable for change of mind. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.
9 Resale & Fraud Prevention
Cards may not be resold. We reserve the right to cancel or decline any card reasonably suspected of being obtained through unauthorized or fraudulent means.
10 Privacy
Purchaser and recipient details are collected solely to process and fulfill the order, handled in strict accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11 Terms Updates & Governing Law
Terms may be updated periodically at merlo.com.au; changes will not reduce the remaining validity period or value of previously issued cards. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
