St Vinnies, Coffee and the CEO Sleepout

Merlo Coffee has been a proud supporter of St Vinnies and the CEO Sleepout since 2010, when our Founder and Chief Executive Officer slept out overnight in the Piazza at Southbank.

The sleepout is a one-night event held in June each year when local CEOs and business leaders sleep without shelter to support changing the lives of the many Australians who are experiencing homelessness every day.

Over the years Merlo Coffee has donated in excess of $50,000 in cash and in-kind donations.

In 2022 we joined over 300 business leaders and volunteers at the Riverstage in the City Botanical Gardens serving espresso coffee, tea and hot chocolates to all attendees from our coffee van.

All money raised at the 2022 event will go towards building 500 houses for the homeless over the next 5 years.
