Launched in late 2022, our coffee capsules were three decades in the making. Behind the scenes, our artisan roasters fine-tuned the roasting profile specifically for capsule brewing, optimising grind size, water ratios, and extraction times for exceptional taste.

Each capsule is filled using precision grinding, multi-stage de-gassing, and oxygen-modified encapsulation. We chose recyclable aluminium with seven-layer micro-foiling to lock in freshness, preserve Merlo’s signature smooth finish, and protect the environment.

The result? Coffee capsules that taste as good as a freshly brewed Merlo espresso.
