'Rescue Blend' - Smooth, Balanced with Big Flavours

A full-bodied, traditional Italian style coffee, the Rescue Blend is deliciously balanced. Dark chocolate and hazelnut flavours, with a malt finish, make this a great all-rounder, that’s delightfully smooth when served black, and strong and rich when paired with milk.

Coffee Origin Overview

Our Rescue Blend is made from a carefully selected combination of 100% Arabica beans, which delivering exceptional flavour and quality. 

Roasted daily in Brisbane, Rescue Blend is a medium roast designed to showcase the natural sweetness and balance of its origins. Each batch begins with a foundation of Colombian beans for their smooth caramel undertones, complemented by the bright fruitiness of Ethiopian coffee.

We enhance this with Brazilian beans, adding body and a subtle nutty richness, and finish with a touch of Peruvian beans for their creamy vanilla finish. Each component is sourced with care, taking into account the region’s unique coffee characteristics and the dedication of our grower partners.

Rescue Blend is a celebration of the world’s best coffee-growing regions, delivering a harmonious and satisfying cup every time. Perfectly balanced, undeniably delicious.

GRIND GUIDE

PLUNGER (coarse grind: 6.2)
Plunger (or French Press) and other similar immersion brew devices, which involved the ground coffee having contact with the water for an extended time. A coarse grind is most effective.

AEROPRESS & FILTER (medium grind: 5.7)
This category includes a range of brew devices that use filters (paper or reusable). Devices include the AeroPress, & AeroPressGo, the Hario V60, Chemex & Fretta, the MoccaMaster and other cone-filtered methods where water is poured over ground coffee. A medium grind is recommended.

STOVETOP (medium/fine grind: 5.1)
Also known as Moka pot, a stovetop to produces a strong, concentrated coffee, and is best with medium/fine grind is best for this brew device.

HOME ESPRESSO MACHINE (fine grind: 4.7)
This category includes simple home espresso machines. For example:

    This slightly finer grind of 4.5 is available to help you optimise performance of your home coffee machine. It allows for flexibility, ensuring you find the ideal grind setting. The one machine that perfectly suits this grind is listed below.
  • Baby Gaggia

    SEMI-PRO ESPRESSO MACHINE (finer grind: 4.2)
    Includes machines for home or workplaces with greater functionality, such as a double boiler that has one boiler for brewing coffee and another for steaming milk. Examples include:
  • Ascaso Baby & Barista T Machines
  • Boema
  • Faema Faemina
  • Gaggia Milano
  • Nuova Simonelli Musica & Oscar
  • Rancilio Silvia
  • Rocket Appartamento & Giotto

    REFILLABLE PODS (fine grind: 3.5)
    No matter the brand, or type of refillable capsules or pods you have, a fine grind works best.


    TURKISH (very fine grind: 2.0)
    Turkish coffee combines extra finely ground coffee with water, boiling it in a small pot. An extra-fine grind is essential because Turkish coffee is served unfiltered.


    Please note: while we try and grind to your specific settings, we cannot guarantee the grind setting will be exact for your set up.

  • 1kg coffee beans - includes accumulative total eg. 4x250g coffee will qualify for free shipping.

    For all other orders there is a standard flat shipping rate of $9.95 Australia-wide.

  • All online orders are packed and dispatched from our Roastery in either Eagle Farm or Bowen Hills (Brisbane) QLD, Australia.
  • We offer a 2 business day dispatch turnaround for all orders. Note that during busy promotion periods this time may increase slightly.
  • Delivery times will vary based on delivery location.
  • PO Box delivery addresses may incur a slightly longer delivery time as some of our standard courier carriers do not deliver to PO Boxes.
