Our Papua New Guinea Single Origin is one of the most exciting additions to our range. Because the coffee plantations are so isolated, smallholder farmers cultivate the crop naturally using traditional chemical-free methods. The result is a pure and unadulterated flavour profile that highlights the quality of the land.
The interior of the island is extremely fertile thanks to ancient volcanic deposits. This nutrient-rich environment allows the coffee cherries to ripen slowly and develop their characteristic fruity notes. We use the washed method for these beans to ensure a clean and crisp finish in every cup.
The highland terroir shines through in their smooth body and balanced acidity. You can expect a delicate raspberry and orange sweetness that transitions into a satisfying chocolatey aftertaste.

This specialty coffee is exceptionally tasty when brewed as a black coffee. It is ideal for filter methods like the Hario V60 or Chemex which allow the delicate fruity aromas to flourish. If you prefer a more traditional brew, it makes a wonderfully smooth and sweet plunger coffee that is perfect for a relaxing morning.
1. How is this coffee cultivated?
Our Papua New Guinea beans are grown by smallholder farming communities using traditional, chemical-free methods in untouched mountain soil to ensure a natural and clean product.
2. What makes this origin unique?
High-altitude volcanic soil and cool mountain mist allow the coffee cherries to mature slowly. This develops intense natural sweetness, bright citrus clarity, and a smooth milk chocolate finish.
3. Can I have this with milk?
Absolutely. While it is excellent black, the chocolatey aftertaste ensures it pairs beautifully with milk for a smooth and creamy latte.
