Its best to pull the grinder apart and give it a clean every 4 weeks or more often if you are using darker more oily roasts. Using warm and soapy water, grab an old toothbrush to remove all residual coffee grinds. Then simply wash out with fresh water and set all parts aside to dry. Once all dry then reassemble for use.
