King's Birthday Public Holiday | 6 October 2025

Customer Service & Delivery Schedule

The King’s Birthday public holiday is coming up on Monday 6 October. Our Customer Service team will be taking the public holiday off, however will be back to assist you on Tuesday 7 October.

What this means for orders:

  • No orders will be processed on Monday 6 October.
  • Any orders received after 12pm Friday 3 October, will not be packed until Tuesday 7 October, and will therefore be delivered on Wednesday 8 October.

To ensure delivery before the public holiday:

  • Brisbane Metro & Gold Coast – please place orders by 12pm Thursday 2 October
  • Sunshine Coast & Interstate – please place orders by 12pm Wednesday 1 October.
  • Toowoomba – No delivery run on Monday 6 October. Customers will need to order enough stock to last from Friday 3 October to Wednesday 8 October. Orders must be placed by Thursday 2 October for delivery on Friday 3 October.

Wholesale Store Pick-ups – Monday 6 October

The following Merlo Flagship Cafes will be open for wholesale pick-ups on the public holiday, if needed:

  • Bowen Hills – 6:30am-3pm    
  • Southport - 7am-5pm 
  • Springfield – 7am-4pm  
  • Paddington – 7am-3pm  
  • Coorparoo – 7am-3pm

Standing Orders

  • Usually processed Friday for Monday delivery: Please place by 12pm Thursday 2 October for delivery on Friday 3 October.
  • Usually processed Monday for Tuesday delivery: Please place by 12pm Friday 3 October for delivery on Tuesday 7 October.

Freight Outside QLD & WA

The King’s Birthday public holiday will affect freight only in Queensland and Western Australia. For all other states, freight will continue as normal. If your order leaves us before the public holiday, it will likely arrive and be delivered on Monday 6 October.
