In collaboration with St Joseph's College in Brisbane, we are proud partners with the Terrace Timor Network (TTN) project. Together, we have embarked on a remarkable endeavour, roasting this delightful Single Origin Coffee from Timor.

Experience the unique flavors of Single Origin Timorese coffee, infused with notes of black tea, cocoa, and walnut.

Delight in its sweet, lingering finish, enhanced by aromatic hints of cedar, cocoa, and vanilla. With a medium body and a refreshing citrus acidity, this coffee delivers a truly delightful drinking experience.

A Special Partnership: Supporting our Neighbours in East Timor

Behind the beans lies a story of resilience and progress. The cooperative responsible for farming these exceptional beans, Cooperativa Cafe Timor, emerged in the aftermath of East Timor's struggle for independence from Indonesia in 1999. Witnessing the destruction left behind, the cooperative was established to rebuild and empower the local community.

Today, Cooperativa Cafe Timor boasts an impressive membership of over 19,600 individuals. The cooperative has made significant strides in improving the lives of its members.
Through their initiatives, they have implemented crucial healthcare services, provided valuable business management programs, facilitated language lessons, and offered computer training.

Empowering Women & Fostering Development: The Terrace Timor Network (TTN) Project

Introducing Kolega Timor Coffee, a truly exceptional brew available in convenient 1kg bags. But it's not just the coffee that makes it special. With every 1kg purchase, a generous $10 donation will be made to support St Joseph's College and their Terrace Timor Network (TTN) project.

The Terrace Timor Network (TTN) Project is passionately committed to empowering women and driving economic development in the Emera region of Timor Leste. Through targeted funding, TTN directly supports transformative programs that uplift communities in this area.

At present, the TTN Project focuses its efforts on the highly impactful Ladies Livelihood Program. This program recognizes the immense potential of educating women and providing them with economic opportunities as key drivers for holistic community development.

Engaging with 65 dedicated women, the Ladies Livelihood Program offers invaluable education, skills training, and access to economic opportunities through a microloan program. These initiatives aim to create positive change, both for the individuals involved and the wider community.

PLUNGER [coarse grind: 6.2]
Plunger (or French Press) and other similar immersion brew devices, which involved the ground coffee having contact with the water for an extended time. A coarse grind is most effective.

AEROPRESS & FILTER [medium grind: 5.7]
This category includes a range of brew devices that use filters (paper or reusable). Devices include the AeroPress, & AeroPressGo, the Hario V60, Chemex & Fretta, the MoccaMaster and other cone-filtered methods where water is poured over ground coffee. A medium grind is recommended.

STOVETOP [medium/fine grind: 5.1]
Also known as Moka pot, a stovetop to produces a strong, concentrated coffee, and is best with medium/fine grind is best for this brew device.

HOME ESPRESSO MACHINE [fine grind: 4.7]
This category includes simple home espresso machines. For example:

    This slightly finer grind of 4.5 is available to help you optimise performance of your home coffee machine. It allows for flexibility, ensuring you find the ideal grind setting. The one machine that perfectly suits this grind is listed below.

    SEMI-PRO ESPRESSO MACHINE [finer grind: 4.2]
    Includes machines for home or workplaces with greater functionality, such as a double boiler that has one boiler for brewing coffee and another for steaming milk. Examples include:

    REFILLABLE PODS [fine grind: 3.5]
    No matter the brand, or type of refillable capsules or pods you have, a fine grind works best.


    TURKISH [very fine grind: 2.0]
    Turkish coffee combines extra finely ground coffee with water, boiling it in a small pot. An extra-fine grind is essential because Turkish coffee is served unfiltered.


    Please note: while we try and grind to your specific settings, we cannot guarantee the grind setting will be exact for your set up.

  • 1kg coffee beans - includes accumulative total eg. 4x250g coffee will qualify for free shipping.

    For all other orders there is a standard flat shipping rate of $9.95 Australia-wide.

  • All online orders are packed and dispatched from our Roastery in either Eagle Farm or Bowen Hills (Brisbane) QLD, Australia.
  • We offer a 2 business day dispatch turnaround for all orders. Note that during busy promotion periods this time may increase slightly.
  • Delivery times will vary based on delivery location.
  • PO Box delivery addresses may incur a slightly longer delivery time as some of our standard courier carriers do not deliver to PO Boxes.

    I really like supporting "local" growers and the Timor people. Kolega Timor Peaberry Limited Edition Coffee is very pleasant to drink. I will continue to buy it.
    I am yet to find an Australian coffee that I like as much.
