I recently ordered the sample pack. The first two packets were fine, nothing particularly special about the coffee, but acceptable. However, when I opened the third and fourth packets, I was extremely disappointed to find that the beans were very oily.
All the packets were within a month of their roasting date and were stored properly in a cool, dry place where I have kept beans from other roasters for years without any issues. I had to throw both packets away immediately, as oily beans can seriously damage coffee machines.
This was a complete waste of money, and I have never encountered this problem with beans from other roasters.

I bought my first OG sample pack and loved all 4 coffees so much I couldn't decide which one to buy next so I had to just get another OG sample pack which has just arrived! 🤣. I've gone back to the old fashioned stovetop moka pot and Merlo is definitely my favourite now! Absolutely delicious!

I purchased the sample pack and was absolutely delighted in how quickly it arrived, it only took two days to arrive in Sydney. I already know how good the quality of the beans are having lived most of my life in Brisbane and I was not disappointed. I changed from Nespresso as the taste was too chemically and I am so glad I did. Merlo will be my ongoing bean purchase.
The Merlo sample pack is our staple coffee. We live in Melbourne, supposedly the coffee capital, but rely on Merlo coffee for superior subtlety, and variety, which we have not found locally. We never tire of its quality.
This product didn’t come, and the refund to account is yet to be received
Really good coffee grinds, perfect for my machine, came very quickly. Would highly recommend if you need some ground beans at home. Taste is amazing
