R U OK? is a harm prevention charity that encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times in their lives.
Thursday 9 September is R U OK? Day, a national day of action that aims to start life-changing conversation with just three words: "Are you ok?"
Starting these conversations and asking "Are you ok?" can make a big difference and can be as simple as following R U OK?'s four steps:

- Listen with an open mind
- Encourage action
- Check in
