Handpicked on a Rainforest Certified estate in the foothills of Mt Msondole, Malawi Pamwamba is a prime example of the sweet, rich and full-bodied coffees Malawi is known for. Sweet peach and milk chocolate flavours star in the cup, with tropical fruit aromatics giving way to a subtle honeydew finish. Our cupping panel was blown away by this offering, scoring it at 86.25 out of a possible 100 points, praising its clarity, complexity and straight-up excellence.
This well-rounded coffee will suit all home baristas, whether you’re extracting espresso or pouring a filter. Brewed black the Pamwamba is delicately delicious and beautifully balanced. Prepared as a white coffee, milk chocolate flavour comes to the fore, with the fruit flavours becoming a rich syrupy sweetness with plenty of body.
