Lavado is a celebration of Cuban coffee – smooth, soft and chocolatey. Cuba’s climate and geography make it an ideal place for coffee growing but until recently politics got in the way. All coffee produced in Cuba can be traced to a single plant introduced by Jose Antonio Gelabert in 1748, and the distinctive flavour profile has developed on the island – lush, elegant and aromatic.
