With an outstanding cupping score of 84.5, Brazil Kaparao is another premium quality coffee bean that we're proud to offer as part of our Bean of the Month program.
Kaparao offers a unique flavour combination of spicy clove, peppercorn and peanuts with lovely aromatics of cedar, honey and clove. The smooth, full body and clean, citrus acidity are rounded out by a silky, sweet and chocolate aftertaste.
The ‘Serra do Caparao’, situated in the southwest of Brazil, is a mountainous region of unique climate and topography. The ‘magic’ of this micro-climate not only produces amazing coffees but allows producers to explore different drying processes including Natural, Pulped Natural and Honey through to Controlled Fermentation. This leads to different profiles from season to season, ultimately resulting in a new and exciting experience in the cup.
