Smokin' Joe's Coffee and Pizza Bar owner Matt Fraser picked Merlo as his coffee supplier for more reasons than just great coffee.
"They have really good support and it's a well known brand in Brisbane."
"It's good to support local and the customers obviously love the coffee.
"We use the Espresso Blend at Smokin' Joe's. We started off with that and had thoughts on creating our own blend.
"But the customers enjoy our coffee so much that I think we would be mad to change things up.
"Being with Merlo is definitely a positive."
Owner Matt Fraser opened Smokin' Joe's seven years ago in Everton Park.
Despite its small size at just 13 square metres, Smokin' Joe's uses 90kg of Merlo coffee a week, and also manages to pump out a few hundred pizzas.
