Our newest bean is from the specialty coffee heartland of the Guji in the Oromia Region, and harvested from the heirloom plants that have grown in the area for centuries.
This decaf delivers the sweet flavours distinct to this region – rich chocolate and sweet berry flavours, with a creamy body and mild, balanced acidity. See the tasting notes below.
Ethiopia Guji Decaf has been grown by smallholder traditional coffee producers at altitudes of 1690 – 1850 metres above sea level and naturally sundried before being decaffeinated using a chemical-free water process.
It’s extremely rare that we find a decaf coffee this well grown and processed, and its limited availability means that we’ve decided to offer Ethiopia Guji Decaf exclusively through our online store.
