It feels a little lonely in here.

Let's change that.

Grab a cupcake and support The Common Good

The Ekka may be cancelled this year, but we are bringing the strawberry and cream experience to you in the form of specially baked cupcakes!

During this month, $2 from every Strawberry and Cream cupcake sold in selected Merlo retail stores will be donated to The Common Good, an initiative of The Prince Charles Hospital Foundation.

The Common Good was established in 1986 to inspire a community to fund lifesaving and life changing health research for Australia’s most significant chronic diseases. 80% of people will be affected by chronic illness (like heart disease, lung disease, dementia and arthritis) in their lifetime. The Common Good aims to provide more than $5M per year to support research teams that are focused on early detection, treatment, and improving hospital care, surgery, rehabilitation and the use of new technology.

Since 2014, Merlo’s monetary and in-kind contributions of over $1M have directly funded research into medical discoveries that could save or improve our own lives, or those of the people we love.

Merlo our proud to be supporting the Common Good once again, so come and grab a locally handmade Strawberry and Cream cupcake, not only are they delicious but it's for an incredible cause too! Available in our Fortitude Valley, George Street, QUT, Bowen Hills, Paddington, Toowong, Coorparoo and Victoria Point stores.
